Based on the State of New York’s Public Service Commission Order (CASE 24-W-0431) issued on January 26, 2026, Veolia Water New York, Inc. is authorized to provide eligible customers a one-time waiver of existing bill balances that are past due by over 120 days as of February 1, 2026. To qualify for this Arrears Relief Program, customers must meet specific eligibility requirements by January 31, 2027.
Eligible customers include:
- Residential customers currently enrolled in Veolia’s Water Affordability Program.
- Residential customers who self-identify as participants in an electric and/or gas Enhanced Energy Affordability Program (EEAP)
Veolia’s Arrears Relief Program is administered by SHARES. In order to self-identify, customers who qualify for EEAP must contact SHARES and provide a copy of their electric and/or gas utility bill showing their participation.
